Ask Zac Episode 37 - Is Chorus Back?

April 17, 2020

My first pedal was an 80s DOD stereo chorus pedal, that I had a hard time turning off, because I loved how chorus made my guitar sound bigger. In this episode, I wanted to talk a bit about what chorus is, the two categories I lump them in, fat and chewy and transparent/pristine. I also open the floor to the discussion as to whether the effect is just a throwback, or if the effect can come back around to being cool again.
